What an awesome trip!

I really missed blogging, but I had a great vacation. I have discovered that T.G.I. Fridays is an awesome restaurant. The food is flavorful, the service is great. I had crispy fried green beans in Ranch Wassabe sauce, they tasted great both ways. I had Argentinean rubbed flat iron steak, it was delicious and so moist. I also had the Oreo Chocolate Cake for dessert. They have a great special right now, 3 choices for $12.99. I have only eaten their twice, but the food has been fantastic both times. The only thing I don't like is the loud music! The Amtrak train ride was awesome. I got to see the beautiful fall foliage in Wisconsin & Minnesota! The train is a great way to go. It is good to get home! I had a great time seeing my son and spending time with him!

Out of blogging World!

I am excited about my trip, but a little sad, also. Tomorrow, Monday, October 15, I am taking a train to Chicago. I will get there on Tuesday around 4 p.m. I will take a bus to another train station, and a train to Hammond, Indiana. I will be gone until Sunday, October 21. I am going to a great ladies conference, at the First Baptist Church in Hammond. I have gone about 3 times or more. http://www.christianwomanhood.org/. This has more information about the conference. I get to see my only son, Jonah, because the college and church are connected. I am excited about the trip. I will miss blogging, so sad. I really love blogging. Anyway, keep posting, when I get back, I will read all the wonderful posts. I am sure that I will have a great time! I can't wait!

I didn't get all the cards photographed!

I sent the package away today! I didn't get them all photographed, but I didn't remember until I had already sent it! Anyway, here is one of them. It has all close to my heart, papers & stamps. It has wal-mart embelishments! I had so much fun making all these cards!

Half Way Done

I am half way done. I have 3 cards out of 6 completed. I am done for the night since it is 11 p.m. I really like my cards. I think they are very cute! I am also going to color him. Those are 2 pumpkins next to him. It doesn't show very well!

The second card

I am going to color the turkey on the last card, the girl & the pumpkins. This is all with CTMH stamps, ink, and paper. The embelishments, I bought at wal-mart.

A card swap

I am making six thanksgiving related cards for a swap on split coast stampers. They are to be in hand on October 15, Lol, procrastination! Here is the first card! I really like the lace, the turkey & the flower.
